January 2018
Dr. Picozzi is very knowledgeable. That is why we are with him, based on the recommendation of a well know cancer biostatistician, John Crowley. However, Dr. Picozzi at critical times does a poor job of laying out a plan. He is sometimes evasive with information, contradictory in what he says, and causes unnecessary confusion by my wife, the patient. My wife left the last appointment in tears, and, three days later, is still trying to shake the discussion, all becuase of how Dr. Picozzi structured the discussion. He needs to have a better understandin of the impact of how he says what he says. Specifcally, he described multiple options for Jane without laying out his recommended path. He is the doctor, not us. We asked for his recommendation and he stumbled through it. He did not seem properly prepared. He knew this was a milestone consultation and he blew it. It has shaken my wife´s confidence in him and now she feels the need to get a second opinion. This is incredibly frustrating.

Dr. Vincent Picozzi is an AMAZING doctor. He is VERY busy, but has a completely patient, quiet nature when talking w/patients. He answers questions & addresses concerns w/patience & clarity. He relates as an "equal" person to patient when he´s a brilliant scientist, researcher, speaker, very impressive. 5. No med gave _____ choices.
January 2018
I most often feel rushed and when I raise a concern, symptom I receive abrupt and dismissive responses. In order for me to remain in calm I need attentive and thorough explanations.
January 2018
Dr. Picozzi - tops!
January 2018
We loved everything about our care giver. Even though my husband has terminal cancer. Dr. Picozzi treated us like family.
December 2017
All professional.
December 2017
Dr. Picozzi is the absolute BEST!!
December 2017
I´m forever more grateful for all everything.
November 2017
He and I have talked about this, but I am a "futurist" and like to plan out, and he prefers not to do that. It is a bit frustrating to not have in my mind at least an educated guess of my life expectancy. His is a reasonable position.
November 2017
I actually have already recommended Dr. Picozzi to others. His knowledge, care, and the way he interacts with me, has made this a much less horrifying experience that it otherwise would be.
November 2017
He´s very busy but he always makes me feel that we are important and that he cares.
November 2017
I love Dr Picozzi. I´m very greatful for his knowledge and the network of other providers that know him around the world. Seriously I have visited other institutions and the doctors know him and respect his work. Pancreatic cancer is very complex and it takes someone of his caliber to navigate this terrible disease. Virginia Mason needs to have more study drugs, I have had to travel for mine.
November 2017
Dr. P is special. Extremely knowledgeable & opinionated which he backs up with facts.
October 2017
Favorite doctor for over 24 years.

September 2017
Dr Picozzi is the only doctor who gives my mom hope about her future. We´ve seen other doctors in this department who have spoken to my mom as if she doesn´t have a chance, but Dr Picozzi gives us hope that we can fight it. We know the reality of her situation, but Picozzi has a fighting spirit which I believe is how my mom has been able to fight her cancer for so long. We thank god for Dr Picozzi every day. Thank you for being the very epitome of what a care provider and doctor should be.
August 2017
Dr. Picozzi has been my dr. for 28 years. After working together closely, we now meet once a year!
August 2017
A very caring doctor.
August 2017
MD answers all questions, however, RN gave most info regarding medications both in talking with me and in writing, which is fine. I understand the MD is very busy. MD always answers any questions I may have and gives a good explanation.

July 2017
My Dr is wonderful! I´m fighting for my life so I will never have enough information or options. I always want more information to try and figure out my chances. I do appreciate his support and encouragement. I feel he is truly one of the best doctors in the world and I have checked a few out. I would like to see more information on clinical trials and target medications related to genetics. Seattle is a very special medical area and we could be even more of a leader in pancreatic care.
