On Saturday, Nov. 10, Terry Avenue will be closed between Seneca and University streets for work planned on the roof of Lindeman Pavilion as part of the elevator upgrade project. This is work that was rescheduled when it could not proceed as originally planned on Oct. 13.

A crane will be situated in front of the Cassel Crag building (see photo) on Terry for the work, which is scheduled to last from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The crane will be used to lift material off the Lindeman roof and deliver new elevator components into the roof for installation.

Lindeman will be open during the work; however, the east entrance on Terry will be closed. Patients, team members and visitors will be able to access the building via the west entrance on the patio. The Lindeman parking garage will be open, as well.

We apologize for the inconvenience associated with this work, which will improve the care experience for the patients we serve. If you have any questions, please contact Don Larson, Virginia Mason Engineering, (206) 583-6019.
