Seneca Street Repairs Continue Saturday
On Saturday, June 27, Puget Sound Energy and AA Asphalting will continue repairing the roadway on Seneca Street near Virginia Mason Hospital’s main entrance. Crews also will complete the repair of the crosswalk at the corner of Seneca and Terry Avenue. The work is scheduled from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Please note the following impacts to pedestrians and traffic:
- Seneca will be reduced to one lane. (Flaggers will be directing traffic.)
- The crosswalk from Lindeman Pavilion to Blackford Hall will be closed. (Flaggers will assist pedestrians crossing Seneca to and from the hospital.)
- There will be no parking along Seneca east of the MRI building and east of the hospital driveway entrance. Parking will be limited in front of Lindeman and Blackford. (The “No Parking” zones at Lindeman will be minimized to allow pick-up and drop-offs.)
It is anticipated that there will be another weekend day of work coming after the July 4 holiday to complete the project.
