Region's First-Ever Drive Thru Flu Clinic at Virginia Mason
- SEATTLE, Wash. – Nov. 28, 2005 – Flu season is here, so for the next two Saturdays Virginia Mason Medical Center (VM) will offer the region’s first drive thru influenza immunizations (offering FluMist® and injectable vaccine).
Clinics will be held on Saturday, Dec. 3 and Dec. 10 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The clinic is located at 1201 Ninth Avenue — at the corner of Seneca and Ninth. In addition, Seattle-based Tully’s Coffee is teaming up with VM to reward clinic-goers with a free cup of its handcrafted coffee.
The flu clinic offers these benefits:
- It’s quick.
- It’s convenient.
- It’s important (immunization saves lives) — and all within the comfort of your own car!
