Patricia Firth is wonderful!!!!
She was amazing! I was extremely vulnerable and hurting - turns out I had shingles on my rear end & genitals. She put me at ease & made me comfortable.
I have not experienced this level of care from any of the gynecologists that I have seen since I was a teenager. Dr. Firth was caring and attentive. She took my medical history and complaints seriously when in the past I have had other doctors tell me that my concerns were unfounded. Based on the information I gave Dr. Firth she ordered a combination of tests. I have not had a doctor order specific tests regarding my endocrinol functionality even though I have told countless doctors that I have PCOS. The test results showed that I have issues with my thyroid and other hormonal imbalances that need to be addressed. Dr. Firth also ordered a transvaginal ultrasound based on my question to her regarding spotting even though I have been in menopause for the last 4 years. Again, I have told several other doctors that I was spotting and that I was already in menopause; they informed me that it was nothing to worry about. The ultrasound showed that there is indeed cause for concern. My uterus is enlarged with a thick endometrial lining which are the main symptoms for endometrial cancer. Every lab technician and radiology technician that I came in contact with told me that Dr. Patricia Firth is wonderful and she is good at listening and helping her patients. When the techs at a clinic tell you that she is their gynecologist because she is so good it says something. I am so blessed that I was able to see her. My only complaint is that she is retired and I won´t be able to see her in the future. My hope is that I will find another doctor as good as she.
