Yakima Attorney Jim Berg Joins Virginia Mason Health System Board of Directors
SEATTLE – (June 8, 2018) — Jim Berg, a practicing attorney and partner in the Yakima law firm of Larson Berg & Perkins PLLC, has joined the Virginia Mason Health System Board of Directors.
He is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates and a Fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers, both of which are invitation-only national organizations. Also, he is an immediate past director and former chairman of the Virginia Mason Memorial Board of Directors in Yakima. He is a former board member and past president of the Downtown Yakima Rotary Club.
Berg, a Seattle native, earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Washington and a doctor of jurisprudence degree from Willamette University College of Law, Salem, Ore. He was admitted to the Washington State Bar Association in 1977.
His appointment to the Virginia Mason Health System board was effective April 17.
