Nov. 11 Update
Virginia Mason H1N1 Vaccination:
Virginia Mason received a very limited supply of H1N1 vaccine this week from Public Health - Seattle & King County, and we are offering the vaccination to the following priority groups, as supplies last:
- Pregnant women
- Pediatric patients, ages 2 to 4 years
- Pediatric patients, ages 5 to 17 years with chronic medical conditions
Pediatric patients of the Seattle Main Clinic and Sand Point Pediatrics should call their provider's office for an appointment.
We recognize that due to the national vaccine shortage the very limited supplies we are receiving are not enough to vaccinate all of our high-risk patients at this time. Our patients are very important to us, and we understand that this is frustrating and concerning. In addition to the limited supply, we do not receive advance notice about our weekly vaccine shipments, and this is challenging for everyone.
Our commitment is to keep you informed with daily updates on this Web site and on our influenza immunization hotline, (888) 625-5515, about how much vaccine we receive and where and how to obtain it.
