The death of a loved one can be devastating for those left behind. If you have lost someone by natural causes, or suddenly and traumatically — through suicide, homicide, an accident or an overdose — your loss can feel completely overwhelming.
The Grief Services program at Virginia Mason is here to help you.
|New, free webinar: FALL 2020 TOGETHER IN OUR GRIEF
In June, 2020, a panel of survivors of sudden, traumatic death participated in a focused conversation about their grief in the time of COVID. The virtual audience was able to ask questions, make comments and add reflections about their own loss and grief. Due to the success of this first engagement, Virginia Mason is offering a follow up discussion, delving deeper into the experiences of the panelists, as the time of COVID extends and additional societal changes emerge.
The audience will again have an opportunity to ask questions and share their own experiences. The goal of this event is to foster healing for all sudden, traumatic death survivors as they hear the first-hand stories of others with a shared experience. All are welcome.
