Evaluation & Feedback
At the end of each rotation, residents fill out evaluation forms on both the attending staff and the rotation itself. The program directors then compile these evaluations and review them annually with the appropriate teaching coordinators. We value our residents' feedback and utilize this information to continually improve our program. Changes can often be implemented quickly at our program, and the response time to residents' suggestions is quite short.
Residents are evaluated after each rotation by the faculty. Radiology residents meet formally with the program director at least every six months to review these performance evaluations. Residents are given the opportunity for self-evaluation prior to their discussion with the program director. Learning goals for the next six months and long-term professional goals are discussed at these sessions.
