Virginia Mason Franciscan Health's board-certified dermatologists evaluate and treat disorders of the skin, hair and nails for both adults and children. We also receive challenging referral cases from all over the Pacific Northwest, thanks to the reputation of our highly respected physicians and teaching medical center.

Our dermatologists offer a "total skin care" approach, including:

Preventive skin cancer screening and management of skin cancers
Diagnosis and treatment of acne, rosacea, warts, psoriasis, eczema, allergic and contact dermatitis and many other skin conditions
Treatment of superficial wounds, skin infections and skin ulcers

Cosmetic dermatology

You shouldn't trust your cosmetic procedures to just anyone. At Virginia Mason Franciscan Health, every consultation and procedure is performed by a board-certified dermatologist.

In addition to these services, we offer a variety of treatments to enhance your appearance and skin health.

Phototherapy Treatment Unit

Phototherapy is the treatment of certain skin disorders with ultraviolet light. Commonly treated skin disorders include psoriasis, atopic dermatitis and eczema. There are at least a dozen more skin disorders that Virginia Mason Franciscan Health treats with phototherapy.
