COVID-19 Testing Update

We are currently not offering testing for the following situations:

  • If you have been exposed to someone with a known COVID-19 infection, you do not have any symptoms, and you are not at higher risk of progression to severe disease
  • If you are seeking testing for travel or other clearance purposes (e.g. return to work or school)
  • If you are seeking retesting after an initial positive COVID-19 test

If you are seeking testing for these situations, please seek local testing sites in your community. Here are locations where you can receive COVID-19 testing.

We are offering COVID-19 testing by appointment only for the following situations:

  1. If you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19
  2. If you have an upcoming procedure at our facility and need preprocedural testing
  3. If you are a patient at higher risk of progression to severe disease and have been exposed to someone with a known COVID-19 infection

All Virginia Mason Franciscan Health emergency departments remain open to provide care for those with emergency medical needs. If you are facing a medical emergency, do not delay care. Call 911 or proceed immediately to the nearest emergency room. Patients who are not in urgent need of care should contact their primary care provider, visit an urgent care location, or schedule a virtual visit when possible.
