On Wednesday, April 25, and possibly Thursday, April 26, a crane will be placed outside Virginia Mason Medical Center's former Emergency Department entrance at the corner of Spring Street and Terry Avenue. The crane will remove concrete from the roof for a new air-handling unit that will be installed later this summer. While the crane work is occurring, vehicle traffic will be limited to ambulances and local access only. There is no impact to pedestrian traffic.

Tree Removal on Seneca

On Monday, April 30, a dead tree will be removed on the north side of Virginia Mason's Buck Pavilion along Seneca Street. The tree, located near the Virginia Mason loading dock, will be replaced with two new trees.
