Hospital entrance on Seneca Street
Seattle City Light will be working along Seneca Street near the Virginia Mason Hospital entrance from April 16 to 18.

Seattle City Light has scheduled work beginning Monday, April 16, that may impact traffic and pedestrians along Seneca Street between Boren and 9th avenues.

To provide power to a street light recently reinstalled near the Virginia Mason sky bridge, Seattle City Light will bring in a small backhoe to dig a conduit trench in the sidewalk. This excavation will be directly in front of the Seneca entrance to the hospital, but it will not block the driveway.

The work is scheduled to start at 9 a.m. Monday and end by 3 p.m. The work is expected to continue during the same timeframe Tuesday, April 17, and Wednesday, April 18, as well. Seattle police will be on site to help safely direct traffic and guide pedestrians.
