The Center for Health Care Improvement Science at Virginia Mason consists of providers, researchers and support staff who are committed to advancing Virginia Mason’s quality, safety and improvement initiatives through rigorous investigation, developing new research methodologies, mentoring health services investigators, and establishing the Quality Improvement Publication (QuIP) program.

Virginia Mason Production System

In 2002, Virginia Mason embarked on an ambitious, system-wide program to change the way it delivers health care and in the process improve patient safety and quality.
