I really appreciated Dr. Havens´ professionalism, easy-going manner, knowledge, willingness to discuss my concerns, answer my questions and offer alternatives for my specific medical need. I´ve been looking for a new primary care doc since switching my health care to VM a little over a year ago!
The doctor was very friendly and knowlegable.
Dr Havens is helping me overcome my fear of talking to doctors by being extremely understanding and courteous.
I liked this doctor very much and am considering switching to him as my general Practioner.
I really liked him, he took the time to understand what was going on and answer my questions and gave me anecdotal stories about other cases he has seen similar to mine which helped me relax about my situation. He is also being very thorough in his follow up to ensure that I get all of the testing that I need done.
Dr Havens saw right away that I was in distress and after examining me, he discussed possible diagnoses and told me I really needed go to VM ER for a CT scan.
this is my first appointment with this doctor and would hesitate to give recomendations based on one experience but overall it was a good experience
I came to this clinic site because close to my work. This care provider only works here one day per week so I would be less likely to refer since the other spot where he works is pretty far away. Otherwise he was fine.
Great. I´ve been to Virginia Mason several times and this visit was the best.
I am beyond confident in Dr. Havens. He is professional, decisive, detail oriented and has a great bedside manner. Dr. Havens is also sensitive and prudent regarding patient and clinic expenses. Please secure him at VM for years to come. He is a good role model for new doctors and a good reminder of excellence in service for his peers.
Dr. Haven did a good job of listening to me. Besides the impressions he took in from listening to my lungs and looking in my throat, he factored in the history of my problem (beginning with surgery a month ago).
Very thorough excellent knowledgeable. Wish he could be more cheerful.
Great interactive doctor.
Dr. Havens spoke to my son, helped him understand and spoke clearly in a "fun" worthy way. My son actually liked his visit and actively engaged which has never happened before. He spent a significant amount of time teaching him how to use his inhaler too.
He was very kind and took me and my questions seriously (which I appreciate very much).
I felt the care giver directed more answers to my daughter rather than to me. It is not a matter of jealously, but rather who is the patient - and I am still in my right mind.
Saw this provider as my PCP was not available - very impressed!! Would consider changing PCP if current one consistently becomes hard to get into.
Best care experience in a long time. Dr. was concerned, informative and personable. I felt he took time to hear me and include me in my care. And he was not slow to seek a second opinion from a specialist. I trust him and would recommend him.
Dr. Havens was easy to talk to, explained what was happening to me in a way I could understand and helped me feel better.
