She was excellent - really listened, cared, and understood. She has a broad view of my problems and recommended solutions from a variety of resources. She was worth waiting for!
I am very happy with my dr. she actually listens then reacts, she´s wonderful!
Dr. Su Yin has be responsive to my concerns and takes into account my thought about care & maintenance for chronic arthritis condition.
Dr. Yin is very good at explaining conditions, symptoms, remedies, meds and prevention. Very easy to have an ongoing conversation and look forward in terms of treatment, condition, etc.
Dr. Yin is a good doctor
I love working with my rheumatology team. I feel cared about, listened to, and nurtured. I have many health issues and I feel they are all taken into consideration when Dr. Su Yin offers suggestions and treatments. I am so grateful that I have her as a doctor. She is down to earth and feels emotionally strong- as though I can lean on her, though I have never done so. The whole team feels as though they like one another, and that is important to me. Some doctors I have seen feel as though they treat their PA and nurses as though they are machines; Dr Yin treats Kailan with respect and kindness- this radiates through out appointments. I guess the best compliment I can deliver is that I feel happy when I know I am going to have my appointments, and inspired and pumped when I leave it.
I didn´t feel like the provider really cared how I was feeling. Nor were my concerns about my treatment and medications addressed. My follow up with this provider was scheduled almost 4 months out to address my current paint and concerns.
I went to Dr. Yin for a second opinion. She explained more about my past labs and possible diagnosis then prior rheumy did in 2 years. I plan to continue to travel the hour from my house just to continue to see her and her friendly medical assistant Kali.
I can´t say enough good things about Dr. Yin. I live in Eastern Washington but would come over here regularly for exams and to see if she has any new information. I wish we had Drs. of her caliber.
Very impressed with Dr Yin.
a great office visit
good and I am picky about healthcare
Explains things clearly and I never feel rushed.
Dr. Yin was friendly, courteous and concerned about medication reduction.
I moved and now drive 45 minutes to see Dr. Yin. must be something g good to say about that!
The care I received deserves accolades!
This is my first visit with Dr. Yin during which she seemed to have time for me and was friendly. I´ve only seen her a few times, but she has always seemed rushed. It was a nice change to have real time with my specialist to get thorough, clear and understandable information. This was also the first exam visit where she took the time to look at my condition sites. I felt much more comfortable with her based on this visit.
I appreciate Dr. Yin´s concern and expertise, and her ability to explain to me wht is happening with my disease and how we hope to manage it. I came in with a long list of questions, and she had answered nearly all of them before I even needed to ask. I also much appreciate her use of the email portal, and I hope the hospital is compensated for that wonderful service. I live far from VM offices, and much appreciate being able to resolve isssues that arise by email or phone. Thank you. I think Dr. Yin´s treatment is preventing more serious problems in the future, and much appreciate it.
wouldn´t go to any one else
Easily approachable, seems to enjoy questions.
Excellent, very clear response to my questions, and medication options - scenarios.
Everyone else is great. Love Dr. Yin
My first visit. Hope Dr. Yin stays. Most of my Doctors have moved or retired.
very patient did not throw me out when I didn´t like the meds but kept working with me till we found something that worked
I love her. She is caring and concerned. I feel she is knowledgeable and made a concerted effort to understand my concerns and explain their causes. I have confidence in Dr. Yn and look forward to seeing her again.
She is superb.
Staff is very professional and helpful.
Dr. Yin has earned my confidence in a very short time. I´m thankful she has joined Virginia Mason.
I´ve only seen the Dr. two times but she knows her "stuff" and I love her.
she communicates well and has a very open, welcoming presence
Although Dr. Yin made appropriate referrals for some of my complaints she was so abrupt & unfriendly that I´m not certain I will return to her.
Dr. Yin does her homework and then some. Thank you.
All very good. #10. I have.
Very nice experience considering situation!
This was my first visit with Dr. Lin. She provided me with information on the new medications she was considering and ordered lab tests to determine which was best for me. I felt that she considered my needs in her plans & involved me in the decision process.
Curt, aloof, impersonal, did not explain anything, did not show physical expression of really listening, not particularly sympathetic, did not tell me what she was thinking about meds or my health. Came in with a strange question but u had to push to find out why she was asking it.
Noted in previous comments. The only reason I´ll continue seeing this provider is because she is the only rheumatologist at this clinic.
Hurried and distracted
Since this was my first visit with dr. Yin after several previous with dr. Kedar, I was very glad dr. Yin called for a number of tests so she could make her own decisions about what my treatment should be. I wish I could have met with her after she got the results so we could have discussed her decision & clarified my medication plan, allowing for my questions. As it was, I got I think three calls from nurses, and tho they were kind and helpful they could not really clarify the dr´s thinking as I would have hoped. I´m not sure how you could justify the expense but a good solution might have been a chance to talk with Dr. Yin by phone at the final point. As it turns out, I now know what to do till my next visit, but I would have had more confidence if there had been some more closure after that important shift in dr´s. Thank you for the chance to give feedback.
This new MD is replacing an exceptional MD; as I get to know her and her way of practice our communication will improve I´m sure.
A little confused by explanation of test results, however I understand that retest to confirm things.
