I have been delighted with the care I have received from Dr Geggel. I went to him for a second opinion following examination by another highly recommended cornea specialist. I immediately recognized Dr. Geggel to be far superior in all ways. I was extremely fortunate to find him!
Dr Geggel is the best
Excellent care, very professional.
The doctor noticed something was concerning about my retina and he immediately walked me to a physician that specializes in retinas.
Always a very good experience!
Dr. Geggel and his staff are great.
had a bad experience with my eye screening for opthmaology a month ago. Dr was very dismissive and condescending. i finally had to tell him that unless he explained what he was doing BEFORE he did it, it wasn´t going to get done. will never go back to him again. Jillian Worth (GP) & Jeffrey Carlin (Rheum) are both awesome.
Dr. didn´t specify whether "readers" are prescription or OTC. I bought them at Walgreens and I am very happy.
This doctor is tops - but he is very quiet.
Most of my care is at different facilities. I use VM because I think very highly of Dr. Geggel.
i did not feel my concerns about potential pain were of concern. There was no pain, but I needed not to feel dismissed about concern for it.
Dr. Geggel is not warm and fuzzy in his approach. At times he does not seem to relate to the fact that eye procedures are quite frightening. He shows little sensitivity. However, I am confident that he is a skilled practitioner.
Very competent. Professional manner. seemed in a bit of a rush as he was running an hour late. would have liked a few more minutes to process questions.
As I very worried & uncomfortable when I saw Dr. Geggel, I was quite satisfied with his full attention & explanations of my problem & treatment.
Excellent care received.
Dr. Geggel has been my opthamologist for 15 yr.
Although he seemed to be running late, Dr. Geggel didn´t make me feel rushed at all; he made sure my questions were answered. He gave me the impression of being thorough and cautious, since he decided to double check with another specialist to get more information before scheduling my procedure, which is exactly what I want from a doctor.
Excellent care provided by Dr. Geggel.
Where Dr. Geggel is concerned I would say excellent rather than ´very good´ I hope he is always there for my care.
Dr. Geggel is the best. Professional, smart, caring.
Dr. Geggel is extremely good at his job, and he tried to be friendly by asking questions, but I didn´t feel listened to. I have a number of issues with my eye, but I felt like he was only focused on one and didn´t hear my concerns.
Dr. Geggel is outstanding.
I will always recommend the care of my provider to family and friends for outstanding service.
dr. Geggel rocks.
Not friendly. Doesn´t want to answer questions.
Very nice doc - extremely competent/reassuring.
Dr. Geggel knows his staff! His staff is skilled at their jobs!
My Alaska connections will hear about this Dr. safety & cleanliness routines followed. - I watch. #5. Demonstrated. #9. Outstanding - Knowledgeable thorough.
Dr. Geggel is the kindest & so efficient doctor and has saved my eye. Bless him.
Dr. Geggel clearly knows his stuff, but I felt that he did not give my medical issue the attention it deserves. While my medical issue may not be a big deal in terms of my health or present a complex scenario to the doctor, it is a big deal to me and I felt dismissed by the doctor´s limited concern for the issue.
Experience was satisfactory. Dr. just very reserved & business like.
Dr Geggel is a highly gifted surgeon who replaced both of my cataracts; he was caring, thorough, professional and explained what to expect in great detail.
Doctor removed the Foreign Body from my eye in roughly 30 seconds in a pain free and expert manner. Couldn´t be more happy with the treatment or the results.
I have absolute confidence in this provider.
Great doctor - I am sure glad I came to Dr. Harry Geggel on my eyes. His knowledge is outstanding and he put me at ease on my upcoming cataract surgery.
dr geggel is the best
Dr. Geggel and his staff are the best I could imagine ever receiving health care from for my ophthalmology needs.
dr geggle is the best great provider sometimes gets behind in his schedule so i always book early in the day
Dr. Harry Geggel is top of the line. I´m very grateful I have him as my doctor.
Dr. Geggel diagnosed and is now overseeing a very rare eye infection I contracted. I´m extremely impressed by and appreciative of his expertise and care.

"My main thrill with ophthalmology is that you get such positive feedback so quickly from patients. I like to talk to patients, not hurrying them through the door. Fully educated patients are the best patients, and we try to provide the education."
"I really enjoy Virginia Mason, because you can have a basic clinical practice and still work on research. I view myself as an academic ophthalmologist and enjoy giving regional and national lectures on my clinical and basic research projects each year."
