How to Make a Payment
All charges are due and payable upon receipt of your statement. If you are unable to pay the entire amount due, please contact our Patient Account Specialists at (206) 223-6601 or (800) 553-7803 to discuss payment options. A processing fee of $25 will be assessed on all returned checks.
Paying your bill:
The “amount due from patient” as reflected on your statement is due and payable upon receipt of your statement. Virginia Mason accepts cash, personal checks, money orders, VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Discover cards.
Pay in person:
You may pay in person at our cashier office in the Buck Pavilion at the Seattle Main Campus or at any of our regional clinic locations.
You may access your account online for review and/or payment. Please log on to enroll.

Virginia Mason encourages you to apply for Charity Care if you need help paying your charges (Download a PDF copy of the policy). We grant Charity Care based on eligibility and income. Applications are available from Patient Financial Services staff located in the main lobbies of the Buck and Lindeman Pavilions at our Seattle Main Campus or the Financial Services Representatives at our regional clinics. Uninsured self-pay discount:
Patients without health insurance are eligible for a 25 percent discount on certain medically necessary hospital and/or clinic services. This policy does not apply to co-payments, deductible or out-of-pocket expenses after your insurance company has made payment.
