Dr. Mitsuyama is a strong believer in patient education, and he is committed to ensuring all of his patients fully understand their diagnosis, as well as the reason for receiving radiation therapy. He has experience in both high- and low-dose-rate brachytherapy for gynecologic malignancies and prostate cancer, respectively. He also has expertise in intensity-modulated radiation therapy and three-dimensional conformal radiation therapy for a variety of conditions, including head and neck cancers, brain tumors, lung cancer and gastrointestinal diseases, such as colorectal cancer.

Personal Information
Dr. Mitsuyama enjoys spending time with his wife and family, which includes three adopted animals. He likes to cycle, play tennis and snowboard in his free time.
