On Patients
“Patients are the reason I went into medicine. I truly appreciate the opportunity to listen when patients share with me their medical problems and how it affects them. To be able to help them understand what is happening to them and to help them get better is a great privilege.”

On Specialty
“Laryngology is the care of the larynx and its functions. Voice, swallowing and breathing are basic functions that we all learn early in life and often take for granted. The values of these laryngeal roles are often fully appreciated only when a problem occurs. I enjoy the subtleties and fine detail involved in the proper clinical diagnosis and management, surgical and non-surgical.”

On Virginia Mason
“At Virginia Mason, the patient is the first priority. When I joined, I was impressed by Virginia Mason’s collaborative nature in how it plans for and cares for each individual patient. I am excited to be a part of this community.”
