One of my best friends was my primary care provider until five years ago, when he moved away from Seattle. Since then, I have tried three different doctors and finally have found a worthy substitute in Dr. Kamo. He is very responsive and accessible, seems very knowledgable and current on medical, and is a really good guy.

August 2017
Dr. Kamo is an exceptional provider and I am confident of his professionalism and care.

August 2017
Dr. Kamo and his Care Team are genuinely concerned about my well being and healthcare. The appointments are interactive and very thorough - everything is clearly explained and checked for understanding. I place my trust and faith in Dr. Kamo and Healthcare Team. Yes, I have and will continually and strongly recommend Dr. Kamo and Virginia Mason. Please remember that "The Foundation of All Relationships is based on TRUST & RESPECT" which I have with Dr. Kamo. I request that you share my survey results with Dr. Kamo and his Healthcare Team. Thank You

July 2017
Dr Ka mo exemplifies ´physcian´ He & his staff are credit to VM & the medical profession.

July 2017
Dr. Kamo was great! I´m thinking about switching to him as my PCP.

July 2017
Dr. Kamo isn´t very friendly and I probably won´t see him again.

July 2017
Dr. Kamo was an exceptional doctor. I felt like he really cared about me as a patient and he really took his time, asking me many insightful questions about my health. I will definitely be returning to him in the future for my primary care needs.

June 2017
I appreciate Dr. Kamo´s sharing epidemiological and other studies with me.

June 2017
Slightly vague description of my illness. Was expecting a more definite answer.

June 2017
I really enjoy seeing him. he´s kind, knowledgeable, and explains things in a way that are easy to understand.

June 2017
I filled out a paper patient survey also about my yearly checkup. I am very impressed with Dr Kamo and the staff at U Village.

June 2017
I was incredibly rushed through my visit. I came to talk to someone about weaning off of my anxiety medication, and to be honest this visit made me more anxious and more confused. I felt rushed through the entire visit, I did not feel like the provider included me in the conversation, rather he talked at me. I was in a sensitive and vulnerable place and I did not feel safe talking about my anxiety or depression, mainly because this provider was so rushed and impersonal. He did do a good job at giving me recommendations in the form of a handout for ways to cope and therapists to see. But overall, I was very disappointed with this visit.

June 2017
Dr. Kamo was very condescending and did not seem worried about my issues or concerns. After receiving lab data I got no response on what to do next or whether to schedule a follow-up appointment. I had to email him myself and ask. I again expressed my concerns about my health, we he seemed to discount and he did not suggest another appointment to discuss further. I will not be seeing him again in the future as he does not seem to be interested in a long term solution to my health concerns.

June 2017
I had two issues discuss with Dr. Kamo, one was some lines in my visual field, the other was a fast-changing mole on my face. He noted both at the beginning of the visit, but left the room without discussing or examining the mole. So that was never addressed in the visit.

May 2017
This was my first visit with Dr. Kamo and I was very pleased with the entire time.

May 2017
I´ve already recommended Dr. Kamo to others.

May 2017
I was completely happy with the provider.

May 2017
Very courteous and thorough!

May 2017
I didn´t mind it but was noticeable; his quick responses to the intake process & repeating nurses questions made me feel rushed.

April 2017
great job of bringing up studies explaining his recommendations.

April 2017
Staff is embedded with professionalism

April 2017
I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Kamo. He is a fantastic care provider and works with me to come up with the best solutions for my health. He really goes the extra mile! He even prints me out coupons when I can´t afford a medication. Sends me video links for research on treatments and always follows up quickly on email. I´m very impressed with his level of caring and service

April 2017
My ratings are why I enjoy and stay with this Doctor, even though he is now farther away from me.

April 2017
Dr. Kamo made good eye contact, was interested in me, was concerned about my health, gave me options.

April 2017
Dr Kamo was excellent in every way.

March 2017
I thought the doctor was ok, not overly friendly or approachable. However, he was not rude or off putting either. He was ok, not stellar enough the recommend to friends and family, but competent and efficient enough to see once in a while.

March 2017
Always timely responses after the visit.

March 2017
Dr. Kamo spent a considerable time explaining treatment options and their effect. This was very helpful. I think he spent nearly 30 minutes in the room with me and did not come across rushed.

March 2017
I was very impressed with Dr. Kamo. In addition to the reason for the appointment, I had some other issues to discuss. Dr Kamo was extremely knowledgeable about all the things and offered some very interesting insights and treatments for my cluster headache syndrome (which I´ve had for over 13 years).

February 2017
Dr. Kamo is extremely personable and professional. I´m impressed with his ability to cite practce standards and study findings on a range of conditions without consulting Up-To-Date or online resources. Even though he charts during the visit, I always have the feeling that the interaction is 1st & the typing is his secondary priority - there´s a subtle difference, but he is clearly engaged.

February 2017
I came in for a routine medication check but Dr. Kamo also spoke to me about another issue (alcohol abuse) and suggested an additional medication to help me reduce/eliminate my drinking. He took the time to delve into this although it wasn´t part of the original appointment agenda. I sincerely appreciate this. I started taking the medication and it is helping me more than any other treatments have.

February 2017
Dr. Kamo followed up the next day with emails and information on the My VM website with helpful medication information.

February 2017
Dr. Kamo is friendly, appropriate, and thorough. I appreciate his care.

January 2017
Great doctor this is why when he moved from south to NW area I followed too.

January 2017
fast and efficient, but though row

January 2017
Dr Komo was great. As I am a young adult, it´s is nice to have a younger medical professional to relate to.

December 2016
I was very, very nervous - this was not my usual doctor. He was awesome, and started me on a new medication that has really helped me finally get some sleep. He really spent a lot of time with me, and even looked things up, and gave me different ideas about what an acupuncturist school in Freemont - when I told him I really believed in natural - just can´t afford it i.e. massage, cupping, acupuncture.

December 2016
excellent and thorough on all levels. appreciate communication on Virginia mason message system

December 2016
Dr. Kamo is a superb young doctor. I have had to switch a few times due to doctors that I liked leaving VM ...I truly hope Norris can be my primary care physician forever!

December 2016
Dr. Kamo It´s now treating my own father that It´s how much I trust his care and his team. They finally provided answers and relief for many of my health issue´s. He´s the best kind doctor in my opinion.

December 2016
Dr. Kamo was attentive to my needs and was very willing to help. I appreciated that he was willing to listen and follow my lead with regard to my type 1 diabetes care. I have been managing my diabetes successfully for over 25 years, and I am often frustrated by doctors whose default assumption is that I do not understand this part of how my body works as well as they do. I was very reassured that Dr Kamo started from a place of respect for my knowledge and experience in this area. That earned my trust!

November 2016
Everything was good. Answers to the confidence and recommendation questions were solely based on the fact that he seemed very young, and it was the first time I saw him.

October 2016
I felt good about my visit

October 2016
Both Therese and Norris were great.

October 2016
I had not seen Dr. Kamo before and I was extremely impressed with his attentiveness, questions, understanding of my health complexities, including my thoughts in his plan, listening well, and managing to be fast and efficient yet thorough and present.

Dr. Kamo went through every issue I had, and I think he did a great job

June 2016
Dr. Kamo and his assistant Theresa are excellent care providers. I never felt like I was being rushed and they answered my questions in a very thoughtful and professional manner. #3. Excellent.

June 2016
WONDERFUL.

April 2016
Dr. Kamo provided reprints, detailed explanation of injury. Urged attention to hypertension. Followed through on all levels. I value his expertise and recommend him most highly without reservation. Outstanding doctor!

April 2016
Dr. Kamo is a superb clinical physician and, most importantly, a compassionate listener. I trust this doctor implicitly. He has a special way of combining (a) all the electronic data entry and technology necessary for delivery of primary care services during an appointment with (b) listening to the patient and advising the patient on treatment options. In other words, he combines latest technology with warm personal approach to patient. I have had exposure to top physicians, east coast and west. Dr. Kamo is in category of his own. Highest marks in all respects. Although I work full time in Washington DC, I return to family home in Seattle specifically to get my health care from Norris. I hope VM will do everything to promote this promising physician-medical leader. The move to UV was a good one for his practice and profile. He is "Head of Internal Medicine" material -- and more -- for VM in the future.

March 2016
It seemed like he was reading off of the document that described the condition I had when explaining things to me.

March 2016
Doctor talked about marking on my hand to be able to track progression of infection but then never did it. He spent time with me but most of it working on the computer.

January 2016
Dr. Kamo is great & is especially good at getting back to me via myvirginiamason.com
