Program Summary

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health partners with the University of Washington’s Department of Gastroenterology to serve as a site for a UW-Virginia Mason Franciscan Health Gastroenterology Fellowship. With its emphases on quality patient care, research, and a strong commitment to education, the Center for Digestive Health makes Virginia Mason Franciscan Health an ideal center for gastroenterology fellow training, offering an experience with significant exposure to advanced therapeutic endoscopic procedures that is unrivaled in the region.

The UW-Virginia Mason Franciscan Health Gastroenterology Fellowship offers fellows a combination of inpatient consultative services and outpatient endoscopy/clinics. The goal of the fellowship is to complement the unique strengths of the UW and Virginia Mason Franciscan Health, enhancing current collaborations and attracting top GI fellows and internal medicine residents.

Eligibility

Fellows must be second or third year fellows at the University of Washington.
