BAINBRIDGE ISLAND – (March 7, 2016) – With planning set to begin for the new Virginia Mason Bainbridge Island Medical Center, island residents and others are invited to complete a brief online survey about medical and customer services that are most important to them.

It takes about 60 seconds to complete the two-question survey. Responses will be confidential and useful in planning the 30,000-square-foot medical center, scheduled to open in 2018 in the Wintergreen Walk development at High School Road and Highway 305.
“One of our top priorities while designing the facility is to incorporate input from families who cherish our island community and call this region home,” said Catherine Edwards, MD, section head at Virginia Mason Bainbridge Island Medical Center and an island resident. “We want our new medical center to meet the current needs of our patients and team, as well as lend us the flexibility to adjust or expand our services as our community’s needs change in the future.”
Virginia Mason Bainbridge Island Medical Center has served the community for more than 25 years at its current Winslow Way location. The medical facility is open from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. Monday through Friday, and from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Services provided include, but are not limited to, adult and family medicine, orthopedics, heart care, advanced imaging, lab services, and urgent care for treatment of injuries and illnesses not considered life-threatening.
