Federal Way Radiation Oncology Center

Virginia Mason’s radiation oncology center at St. Francis Hospital opened in January 2003. This state-of-the-art center has a healing garden, an indoor meditation room and a patient education center with Internet access. Additional services include physical therapy, occupational therapy and diagnostic radiology.

Highline Cancer Center

Virginia Mason partners with CHI Franciscan Health to provide radiation oncology services at Highline Cancer Center in Burien. As part of Virginia Mason's clinical partnership and strategic affiliation with CHI Franciscan, the radiation oncology services bring expert oncology providers together with the latest advanced technology to deliver excellence in cancer care to patients in our communities.

CHI Franciscan's linear accelerator (LINAC) allows highly accurate treatment delivery. In combination with Virginia Mason's Raystation Treatment Planning, this partnership provides enhanced, high-quality cancer treatment for patients, allowing them to receive highly targeted radiation therapy using the safest and most precise plans to reduce side effects. The radiation oncology services at Highline Cancer Center are provided by Virginia Mason's Michelle Yao, MD.
