Virginia Mason’s radiation oncology center at St. Francis Hospital opened in January 2003. This state-of-the-art center has a healing garden, an indoor meditation room and a patient education center with Internet access. Additional services include physical therapy, occupational therapy and diagnostic radiology.

CHI Franciscan's linear accelerator (LINAC) allows highly accurate treatment delivery. In combination with Virginia Mason's Raystation Treatment Planning, this partnership provides enhanced, high-quality cancer treatment for patients, allowing them to receive highly targeted radiation therapy using the safest and most precise plans to reduce side effects.
