Financial Assistance

In-Person Assistors:
Virginia Mason provides in-person enrollment assistance to individuals, families, small businesses and their employees who may be eligible to apply for health insurance through Washington Healthplanfinder.

Financial Navigator:
Virginia Mason provides Financial Navigators at our Seattle and Regional Medical Centers to assist you with obtaining estimates, applying for financial assistance, payment options and questions about your bill.

Financial Assistance:
Virginia Mason encourages you to apply for financial assistance if you need help paying your charges. We grant financial assistance based on eligibility and income (Federal Poverty Guidelines). Applications are available from Patient Financial Navigator staff located at our Seattle and Regional Medical Centers.

Uninsured Self-Pay Discount:
Patients without health insurance are eligible for a 25 percent discount on certain medically necessary hospital and/or clinic services. This policy does not apply to co-payments, co-insurance, deductible, pre-payment or packaged services which already reflect any required discount. If you have questions about this self-pay discount, please contact us.

Payment Options:
If you are unable to pay the entire amount due, please contact us to discuss payment options.
