100 Years 100 Stories

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health is Turning 100

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health was established in 1920 as an 80-bed hospital with six physician offices. Today there are nine locations throughout western Washington. that provide primary, specialty and emergency care. Virginia Mason Franciscan Health also operates the Virginia Mason Institute, Benaroya Research Institute and Bailey-Boushay House.

How has Virginia Mason Franciscan Health been successful for 100 years? It's all thanks to the support of patients, visitors, team members, donors and the incredible community in the Seattle area and Pacific Northwest.
